Introduction
If you’re looking for a tutor who understands the intricacies of organic chemistry, you’ve come to the right place. I’m a pharmaceutical synthetic organic chemist with a deep passion for organic chemistry tutoring. With years of experience teaching and helping students reach their goals, I am well-equipped to provide the help and guidance you need to succeed. I aim to help you understand the material and give you the necessary success tools.
I currently offer fully-customizable tutoring services for students who need help with or would like to excel in organic chemistry I, II, or pre-med organic chemistry. I also fully prepare students to be able to tackle the organic chemistry portions of their MCAT exams by providing a study strategy and problem-solving approach.
Students get all the concepts and reactions they need from lectures and lecture notes. My goal as an organic chemistry tutor is to present the content in a manner that is easy to understand and learn and to teach students how to learn without memorization.

It's a little weird putting this one on the list, but I've heard it enough times from my students that I felt like I should include it. Students have told me in the past that their previous tutors lost their patience when being asked to explain the same concept several times. When you work with me, clarify the same concept as many times as needed. If you're not understanding a concept, it's on me to explain it differently, not your fault for not understanding it.

I have enough experience in organic chemistry to be able to pinpoint which topics you should focus more on and which are mainly filler in your lecture slides. I can teach you how to organize your own notes from your lecture notes so you note down only the necessary information and avoid the fluff.

All tutors need to be able to speak clearly in a way that's easy to understand by anyone, this goes without saying. However, unlike many other tutors, I hold my sessions using ChemDraw, so you never need to rely on being able to understand my handwriting or drawing in order to learn. All of my notes and study guides are also written in the same manner.
